Athlink Get the app

Playing with people you haven’t met should feel fine.

These are rules the app enforces, not promises. Each one is something you can see on screen.

  • The host’s yes comes first

A game is the host’s. Nobody joins without the host approving them, and hosts approve with the player’s level, rating and reviews in view. Approval cannot be undone, so it never happens from a list or in bulk.

  • Private until you’re in

Before approval, a game shows its sport, level, day and time, the venue and the host. The player list and the chat open only for approved players.

  • Blocking and reporting

Blocking and reporting are on every profile, game and chat. Reports go to moderators; evidence is kept for 30 days after closure, longer during an active hold or appeal. If you disagree with a moderation decision, use the available appeal option.

  • Adults, by phone

Athlink is for people aged 18 and over. Sign-in is by phone number and SMS code; there is no password to reuse or leak. One account per phone number.

  • Deleting your account

Delete your account from You, then Settings. Your profile and associated personal data enter the deletion process; shared chat senders are anonymised and the messages are removed after 30 days.

A game page in the Athlink app: Saturday Night Football, 5-a-side, 6 of 10 places filled, the venue hidden until the host approves you, and a Request to join button.
